Patios, walkways, retaining walls and steps — engineered to look perfect today and ten winters from now.
Most hardscape failures (settling, heaving, cracking) come from rushed base prep. We over-engineer foundations: 8–10 inches of compacted granular A, polymeric jointing sand, hidden edge restraints. The result: patios that look identical year ten.
We've installed every major paver line in Ontario for 17 years. Here's the short list that consistently outperforms.
Premium architectural finish with EasyClean stain protection. Industry-leading colour retention.
Smooth-faced contemporary paver with rich colour palette. Excellent for modern patios and pool decks.
Classic chiseled-edge look with multiple sizes for organic random-pattern layouts.
Premium American limestone with consistent veining. Soft, timeless aesthetic for high-end builds.
Polymeric joint sand — locks pavers in place, resists ants and weeds, won't wash out.
Hidden aluminum edging prevents paver migration. Won't rust, rot, or telegraph through finish.
Every stage matters. Cut corners on any one of them and the whole assembly fails within 3–5 winters.
Strip topsoil and weak subgrade. We dig deeper than 90% of GTA competitors.
Plate compactor in 2" lifts. Stable native soil before any base goes in.
8–10" of compacted granular A, laid in 2" lifts, compacted between each pass.
1" of HPB stone, screed perfectly flat, then pavers laid to exact pattern.
Hidden aluminum edge restraint, polymeric jointing sand swept and activated.
Final compaction with rubber-pad plate, optional sealer application, full clean-up.
Real 2026 Ontario installed-cost ranges. All prices include base prep, materials, edge restraints, and polymeric sand.

The owners had stamped concrete from a previous contractor that cracked, lifted, and stained within four years. We tore it out, fixed the underlying drainage issue (the real reason it failed), and rebuilt with Unilock Series 3000 over a 9" engineered base. Three years in, zero settling.
"They explained drainage in five minutes — something my last contractor never mentioned. Three winters later, still perfectly flat." — D. Kovac
8–10" compacted Granular A. Most competitors do 4". We don't.
Slope and weeping tile engineered in — water never sits under your patio.
Permanent aluminum/steel edges prevent paver migration over time.
If a paver settles, shifts or fails — we fix it. In writing.
Almost always rushed base prep. A thin (3–4") base compacted only at the end will heave with frost and settle within a few winters. We dig deeper (12"), compact in 2" lifts as we go, and use 8–10" of properly compacted Granular A.
Pavers, in 90% of cases. They're individually replaceable, won't crack as a single slab, and the premium products carry lifetime warranties. Stamped concrete is cheaper upfront but cracks in freeze-thaw cycles and is nearly impossible to repair without it looking patched.
Walls under 1.2m (4 ft) typically don't require a permit in most GTA municipalities. Anything taller — or any wall supporting a structure or grade change — needs engineering and a permit. We handle both.
Premium penetrating sealers last 5–7 years. Topical sealers (gloss/satin finish) need re-application every 2–4 years. We use Techniseal sealers and offer maintenance packages.
Yes — we source from all major Ontario paver manufacturers and can usually match colour, size, and pattern. If your existing pavers are discontinued, we'll find the closest current match and recommend a transition strategy.
