Custom shade structures designed to disappear into your architecture — or stand boldly on their own.
Shade structures are surprisingly easy to get wrong — wrong footings, wrong span, wrong wood. We engineer every cabana and pergola to local building codes, pull the permits, and use materials that age beautifully.
Naturally rot-resistant. Ages to silver-grey or stains rich for warmth. Premium look.
Motorized louvered roof opens/closes by app or weather sensor. Premium modern system.
Sharp modern lines. Won't warp, rot or need staining. Multiple finishes.
Stone columns with timber beams — the look of a Tuscan villa, built for Ontario freeze-thaw.
Full year-round cabana with insulated walls, washroom rough-in, and finished interior.
Screw-in piles tested to load capacity. Zero excavation. Won't shift in frost cycles.

Pool cabana with washroom.
The Singhs wanted a cabana that worked as hard as the pool itself — washroom for guests, change area, outdoor shower, mini-fridge bar, and a covered lounge with infrared heaters for shoulder seasons. We handled all engineering, permits, and integrated it with their existing hardscape.
"Best decision we made on the pool project — guests use the cabana more than they swim." — H. Singh
Pergolas under 108 sq ft (10x10) usually don't require a permit in most GTA municipalities. Anything larger, attached to the home, or with a roof system requires a permit. We handle all submissions, drawings, and inspections in-house.
Cedar for traditional homes and warm-natural aesthetics — needs staining every 3–4 years to keep colour. Aluminum for modern homes and zero maintenance — sharper lines, won't warp. Both last 25+ years.
Yes, but plan the wiring during build to avoid retrofitting. We always pre-wire pergolas for fans, lights, and 240V heater circuits even if you skip the fixtures initially.
Our cedar pergolas use 6x6 posts and engineered helical-pile footings rated for Ontario snow load. Louvered systems have 30 psf+ snow ratings. We over-engineer for storm events.
Varies by municipality — typically 0.6 m (2 ft) minimum for detached structures, but check setbacks for pools and accessory buildings. We confirm setbacks before quoting.
